Domingo`s Mexican & Seafood Restaurant in Tehachapi

Went here while out of hometown for work, stopped in to get some good mexican food... didnt work out that way though.. ended up being GREAT MEXICAN FOOD! The owner, Mr Domingo was there and delivering food and chatting with the guests like they were all his friends and family.. service was awesome and we were never left with empty cups or dirty plates.. definitely on it.. and very appreaciated.. it was a very long day and Mr Domingo and his wonderful restaurant made for a terrific ending!Place is legit and well worth going to if your in town!

Been going here since 2004. Best Mexican food in the high desert. The carne asada wet burrito is the best I've ever had! Domingo is a friendly guy! Lots of aerospace history in this place!

Was welcomed by the owner. The restaurant is a little dated but was very clean. Mexican food was on point , hot and very delicious. Love the real crab and shrimp enchiladas. Prices are affordable.

Shout out to [you know who you are] for putting Studio B Buffet onto my radar. If not for our random run-in at The Forum Shops, I still might not know this place even existed! Which would, admittedly, be a fairly large fail on my part, considering how long they've been around, all of their glowing reviews (including many from my Yelp friends), and how often I seem to be in Vegas. I guess better late than never though...? Ugh.

Closed as of July 2020, sad to see, and someone please reply if it opens back up. They had awesome food when I ate here years ago.

1/8/19; I think today was their first day back open. Went to have lunch at 12:00PM and the food was just as good as it always was! Had the best chili Relleno I've ever tasted. Many more visits to come.

Saturday night, 7:45, place is closed, supposed to be open till 11pm. No signage as to why. They've had problems in the past with staying open

The Best restaurant in town and definitely worth the wait for their re-opening. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff was friendly and provided excellent service. This restaurant does not skimp on portions some come hungry.

We came for a couple of drinks and left with no service at all we waited and waited for like 15 minutes or so a big party came after us and we didn't get any service so we left never to waiste our time again with domingos

The food was okay the atmosphere was pretty good A little cozy it's a small place the only major problem I had was either it was the manager or the owner would go through the place whistling at the top of his lungs first time he did that it hurt my ears then after that it was just plain annoying while I was trying to eat my food I think I will pass going back there again I don't need this guy screeching across the room when I'm trying to eat very very annoying

This spot is worth a try. They serve large portions for affordable rates. Always neat and with awesome character. Will come back again.

Great atmosphere. The owner, himself, was there and greeted us. He gave us some history of the place and pointed out a photo of two recent astronauts that did the spacewalk.

Good chips and salsa, fast service, friendly staff. You may wonder what you're going to get when you're in the middle of nowhere (sorry Boron), but this place is solid and I'll definitely be back when I'm passing through. There's a lot of neat stuff in there as well from nearby Edwards AFB.

Food is ok, the NASA dècor is quite interesting.

Could learn to not be so fast to deliver food. Prices are a bit higher and food was average. Enjoy the atmosphere and history in Boron Ca. A favorite of military personnel. Fun.

I frequent this unique place every couple of days as I enjoy the good air that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is highly helpful and professional. The service is certainly quick. Needless to say, the food you eat is magnificent. I have been there more than once and I was always delighted. The rate is modest. I highly suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

Staff was extremely nice and the restaurant is a bit like a NASA museum, very interesting. Burrito could use a bit more spice from my point of view.

Very good burritos that Meme and my wife got she got the wet burrito that has a lot of cheese and I got the regular carne asada burrito that has a lot of meat and beans in it very good we will be going back thank you Domingos

OMG!! What is up with the cooks? Especially on a Saturday night!! The food was terrible!! My family and I are regulars or should I say "Were" regulars! Quesadillas had so much grease it was literally dripping off, the guacamole was brown, the burrito was cold, could have at least warmed the meat before it was rolled in the tortilla. I've never regretted spending $80.00 on a good meal, till tonite!!! Sad part is... we live in town!!! 👎👎👎

Amazing place especially for anyone who has a fascination for Space. Spent quality time with Mr Domingo who gave us an insight into the history of the restaurant with all the astronauts that have been there.

If you want to romantic date night this is the restaurant to go to!!! Yes yes they’re finally open! update 8 19 2019 they’re finally open again!!! More to come.... finally went in!!! Nice LITTLE place! Margaritas got a nice kick! Fiesta!!! Ohhhh Fernando’oh. .... I would give him five stars if he would stay open!! I went back today September 18, 2019 I had the crab (and that’s real crab!)enchiladas and they were awesome ...better than I thought they would be ...since I never had them before and I love crab! Try the patio!! I keep going BACK!!! 11/6/19!! If I edit it every time I ate there this page would be so long

Recently reopened after an extended closure. Same delicious menu. Mexican selections. Great service staff. The Boron California location has a small bar and a full service sit down restaurant. Great small town atmosphere.
